Bese Saka is an Adinkra symbol from Ghana that translates to "sack of cola nuts". It represents affluence, power, abundance, unity and the importance of trade and agriculture in bringing people together. The cola nut was a major cash crop in Ghana before cocoa, and was used as a barter system.
